I use the following tech in nearly every project:

• Laravel: A highly productive, batteries-included web application framework. All you need to know is that it gets stuff done fast.
• Filament: An interface component kit for Laravel. What this means is I don't need to write the interface code myself, but instead I just define its contents. This halves development time by only needing focus on what's important: your business logic.

About me

I've been building business-oriented web apps for almost a decade. I've worked in many industries from e-commerce, to fintech, to vehicle auctions and beyond.

I've done this for varying business sizes, from handfuls of staff to 200 person strong scale-ups.

I accomplish this with constant learning and deep connections within my local tech communities, as a member and leader.

How I work best

Everyone has their own preferences. I like to be up front about mine, so let's see if we fit well:

• Remote work: I love the occasional social call, but life is too short to commute.
• Async work, meaningful meetings: Let's hop on a call and discuss important things. Status updates, "this could have been an email", etc. can stay in text mode.
• Written is golden: Precise, useful, detailed documentation is always useful.
• Measure results, not metrics: I provide regular status updates, not time sheets and sprint points.
• No NDAs: Your IP and confidential info are yours and I respect it. NDAs are a minefield, however.

Billing

I offer two billing modes:

• Project: One price, sometimes split into milestone payments, on a fixed scope and timeline.
• Retainer: Great for ongoing work and maintenance.
